A financial knowledge hub for founders and promoters.
Evergreen, practical material on how funding, listing and transaction decisions are actually assessed — written for the people making those decisions rather than for finance professionals.
Why there are no statistics on these pages.
A great deal of financial content online cites figures that were accurate on the day they were written and misleading a year later. Market sizes, listing volumes, average valuations and interest rates all move.
We have deliberately written this material to be evergreen: principles, frameworks and the questions that get asked in the room. Where current figures matter to a decision you are making, they should come from a current source — not from an article.
If you need a view on present conditions in your sector, that is a conversation rather than a blog post.
“The most useful thing an adviser can tell a founder is usually not a number. It is which question the room will ask first.”
On writing about financeA question these pages did not answer?
Most funding questions are specific to the business asking them. Describe your situation and we will give you a direct answer.
