Privacy Policy

How we handle your information.

We collect very little, we use it only to respond to you and advise you, and we do not sell it. This page sets out the detail.

Who we are

Sourcing India (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website www.sourcingindia.biz and provides financial advisory and consulting services. Our office is at C-8, SMA Industrial Estate, G.T. Karnal Road, Delhi-33, India.

This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, how we use it and what choices you have.

Information we collect

We collect information in two ways.

  • Information you give us. When you complete the enquiry form we collect your name, company name, business email address, telephone number, the service you have selected, any indicative capital requirement you provide and the content of your message.
  • Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, pages visited and timestamps, in server logs. This is used for security and to keep the site working correctly.

We do not knowingly collect information from children, and this website is not directed at them.

Why we use it

We use the information you provide to respond to your enquiry, to have the resulting conversation, and to provide the advisory services you ask us about. We also use it to keep records of our communications, to protect the website against misuse, and to meet legal or regulatory obligations where they apply.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it to serve advertising, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Marketing

We may occasionally contact you about services relevant to the enquiry you made. You can ask us to stop at any time by replying to any message or emailing info@sourcingindia.biz, and we will stop.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only where it is necessary:

  • with service providers who operate our website, email and IT systems, under obligations of confidentiality;
  • with professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants where required;
  • with third parties relevant to an engagement — for example lenders, investors or intermediaries — but only with your instruction or agreement, never unilaterally;
  • where we are required to do so by law, regulation or legal process.

Confidentiality of engagement information

Information shared with us in the course of an advisory engagement is treated as confidential. It is not disclosed to lenders, investors, counterparties or any other third party without your instruction. Where an engagement requires disclosure, we agree the scope with you first.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry information for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record of our dealings with you, and for as long as required by any applicable legal, regulatory, accounting or reporting obligation. When information is no longer needed, it is deleted or securely disposed of.

Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. This website is served over an encrypted connection. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and for that reason we ask you not to send confidential business information through the website form — we will agree a secure route once we are in contact.

Cookies and similar technologies

This website is deliberately built without third-party advertising or analytics trackers. It does not set marketing or profiling cookies. Fonts, styles and scripts are served from our own domain rather than from external networks.

Your browser may store limited technical information required for the site to function. If we introduce analytics in future, this policy will be updated before we do so.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you, to correct it if it is inaccurate, to delete it where there is no continuing need or legal obligation to keep it, or to stop using it for a particular purpose. You may also withdraw consent you have given.

To make such a request, email info@sourcingindia.biz. We may need to verify your identity before acting on it.

International transfers

We advise clients in several countries and may communicate with parties outside India in the course of an engagement. Where that involves transferring your information internationally, we take reasonable steps to ensure it continues to be protected appropriately.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or in applicable law. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
